You honestly wouldn't believe this was natural. This is a perfect berm into a little left hand hip. You can see by the tyre tracks how many times we've ridden it!

Riding along the coast after a big storm, the waves were piling into the shore and kicking up spray right across the trail. It's amazing to ride in places like these when nature does her thing and reminds you what a tiny part of it all you are!

Looking down through the trees to where the trail curves back on itself. It's been so dry here that the trees aren't fully sprung into Spring.

This Thursday we ventured to a part of Spain that the locals call "Spanish Utah". It's hard to believe that it's possible to ride this as a day trip from the Basque Coast, so many changes in climate and scenery in such a short distance.

From here it's 10km back to the van. It's not all downhill but I put my seat down here and don't put it back up. There's contour, fall line, rocky, smooth, narrow, wide, woodsy, open, fast, slow and many other types of singletrack. It ends with some jumps off people's steps which take us to a bar!

A big ride today. 64km. Normally when someone says they've done a 64km ride you know they're off-roadies and have been at the skinny tyres and dull fireroads. Today it wasn't. Big bikes and big descents! This descent was mellow but nice and drifty. The next one we didn't stop for photos but it was switchbacks and rocky drops, nothing big but lots of drops around a meter high. Really nice day out but by the end I was broken!

This is a big day out. A big, hard climb onto a ridge which we then follow round in a C shape. There are two tough sections as other ridges join and leave our main ridge and then a big descent back to the start. The last descent is around 10km and follows either the ridge or contour singletrack along the side. Nice day out. Today it was all snow on the ridge. I shot a fair bit of video which I'll shove up here on Monday or Tuesday.
